Concrete has come a long way from the drab and course material you've seen in 1970s constructions and now it is a highly desirable designer choice for homes due to its combination of stylish looks, easy maintenance, and astonishing durability. We can pour concrete with any color and we can make it look like slate, wood, or pavers to suit the design of your property. Whatever look you're after you'll be astonished by what concrete can manage and of course any and all of our interior concrete floors come with the characteristics of toughness and easy maintenance that you'd expect from concrete.
That gleaming polished concrete look comes in any color you like and a wide range of patinas for different effects which give an almost unlimited range of appearances. Nor do you have to be starting from scratch to get that perfect polished concrete. Of course we can pour a new concrete floor for you if that's what you want but we can also recover older concrete that has been laid as a sub floor and isn't attractive to look at. In that case we can either pour a leveler that uses the sub floor as a foundation to build a new concrete floor or in some cases simply what is called an overlay which is a thin layer of new high quality concrete that is suitable for polishing in order to get the finest quality of results.
Get that polished showroom look with concrete sealer which seeps deep into the pores of concrete protecting and waterproofing it by forming a gel that blocks the pores and stops the ingress of water and salts that would otherwise eventually weaken the concrete and spoil its appearance. Sealant application gives your concrete a longer life and makes it even easier to keep it sparkling.
Commercial Interior Floors
Architects and designers just love concrete floors for commercial builds because of its flexibility, speed and reliability of installation, astonishing good looks, and ease of maintenance. From warehouses to airport waiting lounges, from loading bays to restaurants we can show you a breathtaking range of great looking smooth flooring with the options of patterns, different styles, and non slip areas all with the legendary durability of concrete.
Underfloor heating and concrete make a great partnership to bring warmth and comfort to your home while combining that with notable energy efficiency. The thermal mass of concrete means it heats up very quickly – essential for that bathroom floor on a winter morning, and it holds its heat well, resulting in a gentle warming that brings life and comfort to your interiors. Underfloor heating based on a concrete floor can be hot water or electric cabling and while it is normally a feature of new builds we can of course accommodate it into remodel projects or apply a new layer of concrete over an existing floor that will incorporate the heating elements and the crack control systems that mean your floor will be gloriously warm without the heat causing damage or fine cracking.
